It’s time to talk smoothies! They have been the latest craze and have become the Girl Boss of foods —versatile, efficient, packed with energy, and not one to waste time. Smoothies are the perfect quick breakfast to get you through your morning meetings, or if you simply need a recharge after a wine-filled night.

The beauty of it all is that smoothies are hard to mess up. Hate pineapple, but love mango? Don’t fret, just add any ingredient that will help you fuel your body. Feel like you need an extra boost of superfoods? Add some chia or flax seeds. Get creative! You can also add a few drops of your favorite CBD oil before you head out to tackle the day.

Below are a few smoothie recipes we’ve been totally obsessing over lately. They’re packed with a ton of good-for-you fruits and veggies, they taste amazing, and most importantly they will have you out the door in less than five minutes.

GREEN APPLE DETOX

Ingredients:

1 cup of raw spinach leaves

1 cup of raw kale

Juice of 1/2 lemon

1 green apple, cored and diced

1/2 cucumber, chopped

1/2 cup of apple juice or coconut water

3-4 ice cubes

.5-1 ml of CBD oil

honey or agave to taste

Directions:

Add everything to your blender and blend until smooth. This recipe will be more like a juice than a smoothie.

TROPICAL MORNING SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

1 cup frozen mango chunks

1/2 cup frozen peach slices

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

1 handful of kale (stems removed)

1–2 cups of almond milk

1/2 inch slice of fresh ginger

.5-1 ml of CBD oil

honey to taste

Directions:

Add everything to your blender and blend until smooth. Protein powder, cashews, and/or coconut oil all make great additions to this smoothie for an extra protein and healthy fat boost.

KIWI-RASPBERRY REFRESHER

Pink pomegranate smoothie in a glass jar with mint and fresh raspberries on a wooden rustic background

Ingredients:

2 kiwi peeled and chopped

1 ripe peach or nectarine chopped

1 ripe banana, preferably frozen

Juice of 1 lemon

1 cup of spinach or kale

1 small handful mint

1 cup milk (feel free to replace with almond, coconut or soy milk)

1 handful of fresh raspberries

1 teaspoon pure maple syrup

.5-1 ml of CBD oil

Directions:

Add everything to your blender except for the raspberries and maple syrup. Blend until smooth. In a small bowl, mash together the raspberries with the maple syrup until they become sauce-like. Add the raspberry mixture to your glass, then pour in the blended smoothie, and enjoy!
