Giving Back, The Winged Way

We aim to empower women

Winged was built on the idea that business should be used as platform for social good. We aim to empower women to be the best versions of themselves because we believe that when a woman feels good, she is unstoppable. With this in mind, Winged partners with several nonprofit organizations that help advance our goal of empowering women, which are listed below.

MOSTe- Motivating Our Students through Experience.

MOSTe is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that girls from underserved areas in Los Angeles County have the support they need to reach and graduate from college.

Winged has donated $25,000 for the 2019-2020 school year to help these deserving young women actualize their collegiate dreams.

“Through our partnership with MOSTe, we are able to directly impact the young women of Los Angeles through Winged Woman scholarships,” shared brand founder Jessica Mulligan. “Winged Woman scholarships will be given to young women who display leadership in the face of adversity and by doing so, inspire and lift those around them.”

MOSTe’s Executive Director, Amy Ludwig, shared, “MOSTe is excited that Winged has chosen us as their scholarship partner. It’s such a great fit, as we both work to help women discover their boundless capabilities. With Winged’s generous assistance, we’ll be able to provide our graduating seniors with crucial funding to support their success at college.”

Girls For A Change

Girls For A Change (GFAC) is a nonprofit youth development organization aimed at empowering Black girls and other girls of color in Central Virginia to visualize their bright futures and potential through discovery, development, innovation and social change in their communities.

Winged donated to Girls For A Change monetarily as well as they will be participating in the annual Camp Diva Leadership Academy.

Downtown Los Angeles Women’s Center

The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women.

DWC envisions a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. Their mission is to end homelessness for women in greater Los Angeles through housing, wellness, employment, and advocacy.

Winged partnered with DWC in 2020 for COVID aide as the shelter’s resources were strained. DWC estimated based nearly data that homelessness amongst women is up 40%. DWC is also giving out 800 meals a day, double their pre- COVID meals of 400.
